I have always walked by the Vancouver Public Library in awe because of it's comparison to the Colosseum. Call it a true Italian believing the Italians inspired architecture and life around the world. Whatever it is, it feels like a little bit of Italy in downtown Vancouver and I can't help but love it. I have never been in since every time we are in Vancouver I feel like it is such a rushed weekend. This time was no different either. However, I thought it would be a great, quiet place for some photographs Sunday morning before leaving and I was right.
When Dave and I were in Portland I had a great time at the Free People store, which I mentioned in previous posts. I was ready to purchase my overalls and baker boy hat and did one last walk around before Dave saw this t-shirt. Pink Floyd is probably one of his favourite bands, as it is my mum's as well and I love the graphics of this album cover. I grabbed the tee and held it up to myself, I did not want to get back into the change rooms again. It felt like that perfectly worn concert tee that you inherited from your mum and dad that they bought in the 60's. It is the softest cotton and a little oversized which I always look for in tees. It goes perfect with a pair of jeans for a casual look but I can already imagine it tucked into a denim mini skirt this summer, or worn under a blazer for a chic look. I have worn it a lot since I purchased it so I'm glad Dave found it, even if I knew I probably shouldn't have bought it. But I couldn't be any happier that I did! Do you have any favourite concert tees?
