Although Victoria comes to a stand still when it snows and it drives most of us crazy, it is quite something. Since I couldn't get to a workout after the first dumping of snow, Dave and I decided to go for a walk in the evening. It was so peaceful out, hardly anyone walking around and no cars to be seen and it was a really beautiful night. Of course after we enjoyed looking at it, we had to play with it and we ended up coming home, freezing cold and soaking wet but warmed up with some hot cocoa.
Dressing for the snow can be hard, trust me I lived in Toronto for a year and struggled with it for a whole season. However, if you have the right coat and boots you're fine. I do not have either anymore since moving back almost ten years ago, but I made do with my mum's parka and my Hunter boots. You can't beat a warm, cozy knit when it's cold outside and my Aran sweater Dave's aunt knit for me was the perfect piece to keep me warm.
It was fun while it lasted, but I am so glad Spring is on its way!
