Can't get enough of Corduroy

Who knew corduroy would come back into fashion? I remember wearing it as a kid and absolutely hating it! Now here I am, as an adult, in love with the fabric! As you've already seen on the blog, I have corduroy dungarees as well as this skirt, which I'm so glad I invested in because I wear it more than anything else in my closet.

I wore this outfit when Dave and I were visiting Dublin's city centre. I like this skirt, not only for its versatility but I find it quite flattering. Here I dressed it down with a turtleneck and tights, perfect for a cold winter day. However, in the past I have paired it with a crop top for a music festival in the summer, as well as with heels and a blouse for a night out. This style of skirt with the buttons down the front has had a major resurgence in the fashion industry. It reminds me of 60's and 70's styles of miniskirts, with a modern twist. With high street brands like Topshop, Zara, American Eagle, H&M, and River Island, carrying lots of different styles it is easy to get your hands on one and you should, especially for Spring, which is just around the corner!
